Phones: the 60X prefixes
Since the single dialling plan (Resolución CRC 5826 de 2019, coexistence from 1 September 2021), fixed lines also have 10 digits: 60, a department digit and the old 7-digit number.

Mobiles have 10 digits and start with 3.
| Prefix | Departments |
|---|---|
| 601 | Bogotá, D.C., Cundinamarca |
| 602 | Cauca, Nariño, Valle del Cauca |
| 604 | Antioquia, Chocó, Córdoba |
| 605 | Atlántico, Bolívar, Cesar, La Guajira, Magdalena, Sucre |
| 606 | Caldas, Quindío, Risaralda |
| 607 | Arauca, Norte de Santander, Santander |
| 608 | Amazonas, Archipiélago de San Andrés, Providencia y Santa Catalina, Boyacá, Caquetá, Casanare, Guainía, Guaviare, Huila, Meta, Putumayo, Tolima, Vaupés, Vichada |
A 7-digit fixed number gets its prefix from the row's department or municipality when the file has one. An 8-digit number that starts with an old area code (1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8) becomes 60, that digit and the 7-digit number.
