QUESTIONS
Questions people ask
Short answers about files, checks and what leaves the phone.
Does my file leave the phone?
No. The app reads the file on the phone and keeps only counts and scores. What you share is a profile with counts per check and column; it never contains a row, a cell value or an example.
Does the app change my file?
No. It only reads it. Every suggestion tells you what to change in your spreadsheet; you decide and you edit.
Which files can I open?
Text files with values separated by commas, semicolons, tabs or vertical bars (CSV). Save your spreadsheet as "CSV UTF-8" first. Up to 200.000 rows and 50 MB per file.
Why does it ask what each column holds?
A phone, a NIT and a date need different checks. The app guesses from the header; you correct the guess.
Is a score of 100 a guarantee?
No. The checks catch common format problems; they cannot know whether a correct-looking number belongs to the right person. Read the findings and keep your own judgement.
What does The Magic Services do with the profile?
It reads the counts to understand the size and state of your data. Ask it directly what it can take on and how it would work; the app does not promise any service.
Can I check the same file again after fixing it?
Yes. Open the batch and run the check again. The app compares the new counts with the earlier ones.
Questions about the data part of your project?
Call or write to The Magic Services and ask what it can take on. The app and this site check formats; they do not promise any service.
