Municipalities and DIVIPOLA
The app compares names with the DANE DIVIPOLA list (1.122 municipalities, non-municipalised areas and islands in 33 departments), ignoring accents, capital letters and punctuation.
Some names repeat in several departments, such as La Unión or Granada. With a department column, the app also checks that the pair matches.
Neighbourhoods, veredas and corregimientos are not municipalities: keep them in an address column.
